In addition to our Oakham, Newark, and Beverley branches, we have recently opened a new location in the centre of Lincoln to help bring our stunning art ranges closer to more people.

Why Lincoln?

Lincoln is rich in history and surrounded by stunning countryside, making it the destination of choice for fans of cycling, country walks, and quintessential English marketplaces. The cobbled streets, bustling markets, and cultural richness of Lincoln make it the perfect place for our latest branch, because an art gallery can't simply be dropped anywhere. It needs to be accompanied by a beautiful setting, and offer the observer the chance to lose themselves in not only the art, but the location itself. By opening up our latest gallery, we hope that it makes the stunning art we have on display more accessible for the people of East Anglia.

Visit the cathedral, take a stroll down the river, and get lost in the winding, cobbled streets of this hidden English gem. There is more to discover here than you might expect.

Fun fact: Lincoln Cathedral became the tallest building in the world in around 1300, after the spire was raised to a greater height than that of the Great Pyramid! That record has, suffice to say, since been stolen away from the city.

Our Lincoln Gallery

The collection of art at our Lincoln branch maintains our incredibly high standards. From Fabian Perez and Doug Hyde to Sherree Valentine Daines, we have pieces to suit a whole host of different tastes.

We have a multi-storey car park (address below) at the rear of the gallery, and are also ideally located for the Lincoln train station and main bus depot, which are both less than a two-minute walk away.

Trent Gallery is situated on the new development called the Cornhill Quarter, which has a new Everyman Cinema opening shortly. It also has an amazing rooftop bar with unrivalled views of the Lincoln Minster, as well as the Cosy Club and the Botanist restaurants. Visiting an art gallery is always best when you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of everyday life in a traditional English setting, and that's exactly what Trent Galleries Lincoln offers.

Our Lincoln branch itself has a great outdoor coffee shop called 200 degrees, and we plan to add an outdoor eating area within 10 metres of the gallery for use by the Botanist restaurant. We also plan to stage plenty of artist events with visits from many of those featured at the gallery: Doug Hyde, Jennifer Hogwood, and Phillip Gray.
