  • Luxury glamping cabin on a farm in the Carmarthenshire hills
  • A 15-minute drive to Narberth; half an hour to Saundersfoot
  • Internal barbecue, separate kitchen, a fire box and a deck with views
A premium-quality wooden cabin on a working farm in West Wales, Caban Cefn Gwlad Penclippin is surrounded by woodland. With an uncluttered Scandinavian feel to its design, this secluded spot is just the place for couples looking to spend quality time à deux. So, luxurious glamping with a definite touch of class. With a double bed and cosy seating area, the cabin interior is centred around an internal barbecue (yes, really), complete with swivel grill for cooking over the fire, a pan warmer and kettle. There’s a fire box outside on the decking, if you’d like to dine under the stars, and a fully equipped kitchen and shower room about 20 metres away from your front door. There are spectacular Carmarthenshire hill views from the terrace, and direct access to the surrounding fields for quiet strolls. The beaches of Tenby (40 minutes’ drive) and Saundersfoot (half an hour) are also close by for blowy walks and a dip in the sea on a sunny day. If you fancy something a bit more demanding in the activity states, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a short drive away for day-long yomps with fabulous headland views. Although you may never want to be parted from your romantic rural retreat, the town of Narberth (15 minutes) is the place to pick up foodie treats in its delis and linger over coffee in cute little teashops.

Liked: Everything! As soon as we arrived we were impressed by the stunning views and the quirky accomodation. Was such a relaxing stay and loved the indoor BBQ. Owners were so helpful and at my request had put up birthday banners/balloons for our arrival as it was my partners birthday. This really is a special place.

Clychau'r Gog cabin

Liked: The personal touches like Welsh-cakes and milk. Was a lovely peaceful location and perfect for a young or old couple. Great location for dogs plenty of walk around for them and there was also a field you can use for dog use. Great location nearby to villages and towns and not too far from beaches like Tenby and Haverfordwest. We liked the idea of having a bbq in the accommodation however didn’t use it due to being too hot whilst there. The hosts greeted us on arrival and were very accommodating asked questions about ourselves and plans for the weekend. Facilities were really good there was a small kitchenette with a variety of pots and pans as well as kitchenware. There was a double gas hob which was easy to use as well as a fridge freezer. Next door to the kitchenette was a bathroom with a shower toilet and sink, the shower was hot which was an added plus of not having like warm.

Disliked: Would of been good to have a drill for the fire pit as it was too hot for us to cook in the cabin itself and possibly to have a fan for the warmer weather as there was a heater for colder weather. Other than that it was an amazing stay
