Liked: Everything! Really cute little site, so peaceful! No showers or wash up area but a well maintained camping area and added bonus of free range chickens roaming around. Friendly owner who popped by now and then to check everything’s ok. Small field of sheep directly across from pitches. 15 minute drive to Cleveleys beach. Would give 10 stars if possible! Will definitely be back next year.

Liked: Location for blackpool was great, just 25min drive, first campsite we haven't really been at much apart from sleeping. Owners were lovely, sheep and chickens as personal alarms in a morning haha. My daughter loved the chickens. Toilet clean and tidy. All facilities were easily accessible. No complaints.

Liked: Location was great for a visit to Blackpool yet we could come back to the campsite away from the hustle and bustle as it was very peaceful
Disliked: Difficult to work out boundaries for the pitches as not clearly marked. We were also told that there were concrete slabs to use to place cookers/BBQs on, but these were also difficult to find as they were hidden behind the pitch numbers. These slabs could also be with doing a bit bigger. This is just being described as feedback, it did not affect the overall enjoyment of our stay

Liked: Jill and Andy, who are very friendly, cheerful and helpful, opened this lovely quiet site just 12 months ago. Just outside Hambleton near Poulton-le-Fylde, the site has a limited number of pitches; therefore it does not get crowded and there is lots of space for children to play in a safe environment. Facilities are limited at present to just one toilet, chemical disposal and drinking water, but this was not an issue for anyone and Jill and Andy are planning more. A bar with food is about 10 minutes walk along a quiet road, while a bistro and bar is just up the lane from the site. Free range hens too for fresh eggs every day. I very much recommend Southview Farm for a quiet stay but within easy striking distance of the seaside at Fleetwood and Cleveleys.
