Please support my three-day/138 mile walk to help Hft Flintshire support people with learning disabilities to live the best lives possible. 

Hft provides highly personalised support for people with learning disabilities. It can range from supporting someone to find a job, to helping them live independently in their own homes or simply encouraging them to be themselves and to achieve their true potential. I'm proud to be undertaking this challenge to support them. 

This is my tenth annual fundraising walk. Each year I try to make the walk a little more challenging, and I think it's fair to say that this year's challenge will be the toughest yet. I'm not getting any younger and there are a lot of hills to cross, particularly in days two and three. The 138 mile Pilgrims' Way stretches from Holywell to Bardsey Island, although I'll be walking it in the other direction (not literally backwards), finishing closer to home lol. 

Some of my friends have mentioned that they intend to join me over the final few miles - company I will need and very much appreciate! My daughter, Chrissy, will once again be my back up crew and will do her best to keep everyone up to date with our progress, posting information onto my shop facebook page, "Chrysalis Pets". Join us if you would like to know how we fare and where you can join us toward the end of the walk (always assuming I make it!).
