The Slurry Infrastructure grant round 1 online checker has now closed for applications. If you are interested in applying for a grant, read the Slurry Infrastructure grant round 2 guidance.

Read this guidance if you’re a farmer applying for a Slurry Infrastructure grant round 1. If you’re a local planning authority, read the information for local planning authorities.

The grant is available to pig, beef and dairy farmers whose farming systems produce slurry. It helps replace, build new or expand existing slurry stores to provide 6 months’ storage.

This grant is competitive. The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) will give the grant to those projects that have the greatest environmental outcomes.

This is a 2-stage application process.

If you submitted an online application and it scores highly enough, RPA will invite you to submit a full application.

The deadline for submitting full applications is 11:59pm on Friday 28 June 2024.
