Join Oyogo and a selection of expert trainers for a weekend wellness break filled with hot and cold exposure training, yoga and wind down stretches as well as breathwork and sound healing. Take the time to truly switch off, and let us lead you through a series of sessions designed to help you realign and reconnect with yourself.

Throughout your stay you'll have access to the hotel, spa and 93 acres of the South Lodge estate to make your own. We encourage you to take a walk, relax in the spa and do what makes you feel good, whilst taking in everything you've learnt and experienced during the weekend.

MEET THE TRAINERS

KERI-ANNE PAYNE

Keri-anne Payne is best known as a double open water swimming 10 km world champion and silver Olympic medallist. After retiring in 2017, Keri-anne founded Straight-Line Swimming to share her love of open water swimming and develop the next generation of coaches and open water swimmers. After qualifying over 550 coaches, Keri-anne continues to expand her mission to encourage more people into the world of open water.

WILD SWIMMING AND COLD WATER EXPOSURE
Join Keri-anne in South Lodge’s beautiful wild pool and learn how to swim in the cold open water. Expect to walk away from this session with new found tricks of the trade to improve your confidence. Get to grips with breathing techniques, body position and sighting tips that will help you feel at ease in the water.

HOT AND COLD EXPOSURE TRAINING
You will be provided with tools to tackle hot and cold exposure and learn tools that can, and will, help you build a stronger mindset, more resilience and help you adapt to the stressors of everyday life in a much more controlled way. Using the hot and cold to improve blood flow, circulation, decrease inflammation, and release all the feel good hormones you need to leave you feeling happier, stronger and more confident. You’ll also notice a big feeling of relaxation & grounding as a byproduct of the session.

BIANCA & JAMES STEPHENSON

Bianca and James Stephenson of Really Nice Sounds are a husband-and-wife sound healing duo based in Hackney. James is a musician and DJ under the moniker Mr James, playing for the likes of Lost Village, We Out Here and Pikes Ibiza; Bianca is a yoga and meditation teacher with a background in Psychology. Together, they bring practitioners on personal journeys of healing by blending guided meditation, intention, sound and music.

SOUND BATH AND ENERGY HEALING
Join us for a relaxing evening sound bath meditation featuring a Mars gong, Venus gong, crystal singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks and more. Sound healing is an ancient therapy where guests are exposed to deep, droning and soothing sound frequencies made with specially tuned instruments. These frequencies help synchronise the brain cells to cue the body to heal itself. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing. We supply yoga mats, pillows and blankets, but feel free to bring anything else you might need to feel cosy.

HEATHER HEARTS

Energy giver Heather loves all things calming. Finding it hard to stay calm herself, Heather works hard to create a feeling of safety and sense of being enough for her and her clients. As an ex-dancer it was easy to never quite feel good enough, therefore Heather sees the impact that yoga has had on her wellbeing more than most and looks to introduce, develop and enhance this feeling in others.

ENERGISING MORNING VINYASA YOGA FLOW
Join Heather and get to grips with some core yoga and breath-work techniques designed to enhance your overall well being, reduce stress and reset the body. During these sessions you will intentionally change your breathing pattern and practice breathing in a systematic and conscious way with de-stressing the body through deep stretching and yoga

RESTORATIVE STRETCH AND BREATHWORK
Heather’s restorative stretch and breath-work class is an opportunity to slow things down and find space. This practice is based around deep stretching and on grounding postures and breath-work used to de-stress the body. It’s less about doing and more about being in this space to allow yourself time. This class will be mainly floor-based with gravity doing all the work so you can release, let go and go deeper into those closed off areas.

Saturday 14th October
WELCOME LUNCH SERVED IN BOTANICA RESTAURANT
12pm - 1pm

Leave your weekend bag at the hotel or spa reception for check-in later and head on over to the spa with your swimmers and loungewear for your first day of wellness. We'll start with a warm welcome and light sharing platter lunch in Botanica restaurant before heading outside for the first of our sessions.

REFUEL STATION
Midafternoon

To keep your energy levels up and feeling good throughout the day, we will have a refuelling station on the Watershed terrace, so you can get a pick-me-up of protein balls and homemade electrolyte drinks.

Join Ex-Olypiman Keri-anne Payne for a fascinating talk and Q&A about her experience as an open-water athlete and learn more about how to utlise the benefits of cold water exposure and controlling breath-work.  Listen to Keri-anne explain how cold exposure can be used in everyday life to de-stress and reset as well as Keri-anne’s journey as an open water swimmer to Olympic gold!

TIME FOR YOURSELF
6pm onwards

Enjoy the evening at your leisure to soak up the learnings from the day and take you pick of our restaurants* to dine in at a time that best suits you. 

Botanica, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant that's dairy free and zero waste, with plenty of plant based dishes. Perfect for healthy eats and relaxed dining in the spa, with spectacular views from the terrace and mind and body boosting tinctures available at the bar.
Camellia, offering the epitome of elegance in the hotel with a beautifully presented à la carte fine dining menu that has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes. Making the most of seasonal and local produce as well as what's being grown in the kitchen garden.
The Pass, is an opportunity to experience the craft behind a Michelin starred menu. Seated with a view over the kitchens you can watch all the chefs in action as each carefully curated dish of your tasting menu is brought to your table.

BRUNCH IN BOTANICA WITH JUICES AND COFFEE

Enjoy a relaxed brunch after yoga, or if you prefer an earlier start to your day, you're welcome to eat breakfast before the yoga session in either Botanica or Camellia restaurant and simply come along for a replenishing juice or water.

Enjoy some much needed nourishment after the mornings sessions with a two course lunch in Botanica, alongside a seasonal homemade juice from our kitchen garden and water. The trainers will be joining you for lunch, so this is a great opportunity to ask any questions from the sessions and say goodbye before they head out.


TIME TO SPA, REST AND RELAX
4 - 9pm

Make the most of your time at South Lodge spa, you're welcome to stay until close, giving you time to take in everything you've learnt over the weekend. The spa is a relaxing place to be and unwind, set into the natural contours of the land and designed with sustainability at its heart. Enjoy terraced sun decks, the outdoor wild pool and hydrotherapy pool as well as a suite of thermal experiences and an indoor infinity pool. There's also the gym and spin studio if you're an extra keen bean to work up more of a sweat. Oh and if you'd like to finish your experience in the most indulgent way, why not book one of our spa treatments before you go? Just make sure to add on when booking as these can get snapped up quick.

With check-out by 11am on Sunday, we recommend taking your things over to the spa before your first session, where you can check out at reception and leave any luggage you don't need for the day to be stored by them.
