With lazy afternoon DJ session beside the river and a selection of DJ friends providing the musical nutrition at Wild HQ, our secluded courtyard, in the evenings. Music at Wild Canvas is a pretty chilled affair, a sweet summer soundtrack to your time here., served up on a quality sound system! Whilst pretty low key during the week, on weekends, we turn up the volume and get the party going.

Still hungry for discovering music both ancient and modern, and totally comfortable with today’s climate of open minded cross-generational clubbing, there has never been a better moment for Patrick as a DJ blending styles across the soulful spectrum.
Abi started dj ing in 1996 as a resident at a weekly night ‘DO ME A FAVOUR’ in London’s West End playing a mix of soul, jazz funk, boogie, lovers rock and rare groove. This led to her own weekly nights at The Vibe Bar (Brick Lane) and Tongue and Groove (Brixton) as well as twice weekly gigs at The Cafe de Paris (VIP rooms) and The Met Bar.
Dom Servini is a stalwart of the soulful music scene in London. As co-owner of the Wah Wah 45s record label (this year celebrating its twenty third birthday) and resident DJ at their club and live events, as well as being an internationally respected turntablist, Dom knows not only how to rock a party, but also has the knack for finding an exciting new artist or two. Dom has been responsible for signing Hackney Colliery Band, The Milk, Dele Sosimi, Honeyfeet, Resonators and many more.
The Mighty Zaf is one of the top handful of House and Disco DJs in the world playing original and rare musical gems on vinyl. Zaf’s DJ set at Wild Canvas last year was one of the highlights of the month and we are super happy to have him back again this year.
Earl Gateshead began DJing in 1979 when he played Reggae records between punk bands in Brixton……… Today Earl tours the world, always playing original, first press, vinyl, which he maintains has the best sound. He spreads the original positive message of love, from Jamaica’s golden era of Reggae music.
DJ Soulprovyder is the founding member of the SOULSOLUTION SOUNDSYSTEM ‘Purveyors of fine funk, bespoke beats & organic afro latin grooves that have put on regular events at various venues such as Rhythm Factory, Cargo, Juno, Babalou and Gramaphone.
Ben has been an avid collector and selector for over 3 decades. He worked at Groove Records throughout the 80s and DJ’d all over the world. Ben brings a deep, vinyl selection of soulful grooves, roots reggae and illicit dubs!
Jake caught the DJ bug back in 1990, playing at college parties, before setting up a successful Brazilian night while attending Brighton University. It was here where he met fellow DJ Dom Servini, which led to a long-standing friendship between the two and a renowned club night in the form of ‘Mouseorgan’,
A collective of true music lovers, Dj’s and producers pushing the boundaries and sharing sounds from genres such as Broken Beat, Future Jazz, Latin Jazz, Afrobeat, Deep House and Bossa.
Based in London, and with over 2 decades rocking dancefloors all over the world, including clubs such as Fabric, Pacha, Ministry of Sound and festivals such as Glastonbury (UK), Big Beach (Japan), Splore (New Zealand), Kengo has honed his sound with a keen awareness for emotion and movement. Also a trained dancer he is the initiative behind 4 To The Floor collective with a vision to bringing back dance into dance music. On the production side, he runs his own Otodama music imprint as well as having releases on labels such as Makin Moves and Afroterraneo.
The Herd have led they way for some of the best parties in this part of the country, bringing in a roster of DJs who deliver the best in soulful music past and present. We will be joined by Herd founder Matt, and George, also one of their resident DJs.
