Supply chain

The A303 Stonehenge project is the largest road scheme planned in the south-west in recent years, with the potential to create many opportunities for suppliers locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

Supply chain

This isn't just limited to larger companies - local businesses and small and medium enterprises would also have the chance to work with the project and join our supply chain through our contractors.

Our plan would allow us to appoint several main, or Tier 1, contractors to deliver the scheme.

  • Archaeology - to carry out archaeology investigations
  • Preliminary works - to get the site ready for construction
  • Main works – to build the scheme

These contractors would create a range of opportunities that would require support from a wide variety of businesses of all sizes over a number of years. Materials and equipment would be needed, as well as people with the right expertise.

What are the opportunities?

Some examples of the types of services our contractors might need include:

  • Office support
  • Site labour
  • Security
  • Cleaning
  • Driving

Get involved

As we move closer to main construction, our contractors will use CompeteFor to advertise opportunities. This is an independent free service that allows UK businesses to register and receive notifications of contract opportunities linked to major public and private sector organisations.

Ahead of this, we want to hear from companies which might be interested in working on the A303 Stonehenge project.

Please sign up to the A303 Business Directory using the form below and we'll pass your information on to our contractors.
