Our Luxury Rooms
We have nine lovely rooms at Cathedral View Guest House. We have a mix of double, king and superior king rooms throughout and none are same due to the fascinating nature of the building. Six are located in the origianl part of the building with each room having there own unique character influenced over the centuries. Three are located in our new wing and have been tastefully fitted in a modern 'boutique' fashion. One of the best views of the Cathedral can be viewed from bedroom 5 hence the name Cathedral View Guest House. Two more rooms offer views of the towers rising into the skyline, please take your time and visit our gallery below to view these historic features.
The Best Location
In the Cathedral Quarter right next to the Cathedral, the Castle and within 100metres of over a dozen restaurants, bars and pubs. The lovely Bailgate shopping area is on our doorstep, home to the largest independent shopping area in the midlands and voted best street in England in 2018. You even don't need to move your car from our very own private car park at the rear of the Guest House during your stay.
History
Cathedral View Guest House is a charming Grade 2 listed property dating back to the 12th Century at the time the Cathedral was being built. Sympathetically restored the property still maintains some of the original timber work and indeed many original features built during its long history can be found throughout the property. Set in a stunning location, the Cathedral can be seen in all its glory. The images of the cathedral are taken at the rear of the property giving you an idea of how central we are to Lincoln Cathedral, the Castle, the Bailgate and indeed the Cathedral Quarter.

Our Story
Christina and Paul bought 6 Eastgate in the summer of 2010, formerly known as the 'Black Horse Chambers'. It had been unoccupied for two years, was looking rather tired and in desperate need of repair. Some ten months later having completley renovated the property and converted it into a Guest House Cathedral View Guest House was opened in May 2011.
