Brexit and the plastics industry
The British Plastics Federation established a Brexit Taskforce in September 2016. Since then the BPF has published various documents and established a 'Sector Panel' allowing, its members to work directly with key government departments to ensure the best possible Brexit for the plastcis industry. The BPF Brexit Taskforce is chaired by Mike Boswell, Managing Director, Plastribution.

Companies are advised to use this method for a quick and informal decision. Companies can apply for a Binding Tariff Information decision in Northern Ireland or an Advanced Tariff Ruling in Great Britain.
This is a legally binding decision on the commodity code to use for your goods and can take between 30 and 60 days to be processed
