Corporate Social Responsibility

Social responsibility has been core to our business values since the founding of Alton Aviation Consultancy. In 2017, we formalized our commitment to giving back, becoming the first aviation and aerospace company to join Pledge 1%, a corporate philanthropy movement dedicated to improving communities around the world. We are proud to donate 1% of our annual revenue to charitable organizations, with Airlink, the rapid-response humanitarian relief organization, being our largest beneficiary. In addition to our corporate giving financial donations, we also contribute 1% of employee time to community involvement locally near each Alton office.

Pledge 1% is a global movement that inspires, educates, and empowers entrepreneurs, companies, and employees to be a force for good. Over 10,000 members in 100 countries have used Pledge 1%’s framework to donate half a billion dollars in new philanthropy. Pledge 1% encourages and challenges individuals and companies to give 1% of equity, product and employee time for their communities, and offers turnkey tools and best practices, making it accessible for any company to incorporate philanthropy into their business model.
