Taking place in Berlin, the Special Olympics World Games 2023 will see thousands of Special Olympics Athletes compete in 26 summer sports. It will bring together people from across the world to celebrate and promote recognition and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.

With your support, we can help ensure that our selected team of Special Olympics GB athletes attend the World Games. For many this will be the pinnacle of their sporting careers and a life-changing opportunity that will offer people with intellectual disabilities the chance to showcase their sporting abilities at an international level. The funds raised will help to enable over 100 athletes and over 40 coaches and volunteers to attend the event, contributing towards travel, kit and training in the lead up.

Special Olympics represents one of the three great sporting movements in the world, alongside the Olympic and Paralympic movements, and looks to gain access to the same type of support.
